Cache County Permits and CommunitiesWhat Homeowners Ask
Logan Remodeling and Permit Questions
Can I build an ADU anywhere in Logan?
Logan's factsheet states that ADUs are permitted in all zones citywide. The property must still be the owner's primary residence. It also needs at least one additional off-street parking stall and an ADU Landlord license.
Does Cache County issue permits in Logan?
No. Logan's own Building Department issues permits inside the city. The department's number is 435-716-9030.
What happens to a Logan ADU license when the home is sold?
It ends. Logan's ADU Landlord license is not transferable. A new owner applies for a license of their own. The unit also stays tied to an owner-occupied home.
